I purchased the adult S/M for a 5'9" girl who wears a size 4. The gown was very snug in the bodice. I do not feel that it was true to size. I believe she would have been more comfortable in the Large. The white gown was pretty sheer, having only the front portion of lining from the shoulders to the waist. I had to make a slip so that the gown could not be seen through. The sleeves wear very flowing and looked great in movement. The gown worked for the Christmas drama, and looked good, but I was not satisfied with the fit nor the modification that had to be done.
